Outdoor Recreation & Tourism
Arizona’s natural amenities and resources are a key economic driver in the state, fueling tourism, outdoor recreation, and peripheral spending. They are also an important contributor to residents’ quality of life. The Extension Regional Economic Analysis Program (EREAP) is involved in research to quantify the importance of these natural resources, including research related to outdoor recreation, environmental & natural resource valuation, and tourism within the state.
