Professor Dahlgran Develops New Web Application to Help Manage Risk in Commodities Trading

AREC Professor Roger Dahlgran has started a new company, HedgeSmart, LLC, to help farmers, agribusinesses, and traders manage and minimize their risk in the commodities market. Dahlgran, who teaches AREC 313 The Economics of Futures Markets, has created an application that utilizes 25 years of data he has collected on daily futures and cash prices.
