Joseph Lanser is a first-year master's student with a B.S. in Environmental and Water Resource Economics from the University of Arizona. With a strong interest in complex resource allocation problems, Joseph is interested in exploring the potential policies that could address these challenges, particularly in contexts where governance plays a key role. In addition to academic pursuits, Joseph serves as a teaching assistant, fostering a passion for education and mentorship. Beyond the academic realm, Joseph is also a professional musician and has been studying music and more specifically electric guitar since the age of 10.
