Limitless Potential with ABEM major

Oct. 4, 2016

Students with an Agribusiness Economics and Management (ABEM) Bachelor of Science degree go on to do a variety of things, some of them not surprising:  they find careers in finance, investment, insurance, sales, retailing, managing family businesses or go on to graduate school.  Some, however, go on to the entertainment business!  Strange though it may seem ABEM majors can land jobs in the television and film industry.  Ran J. Kang is an example.  Ran graduated in 2010 with a B.S. in ABEM.  He has worked for the past 6 years in the entertainment industry in the Los Angeles area, first as a financial analyst, then a talent coordinator, production supervisor, production coordinator and unit manager for television, film, and commercials showing on Netflix, NBC/Paramount Television, and elsewhere.  Ran began his career using the analytical and business tools he learned while earning his ABEM degree to launch his career with a first job at Warner Bros.  We hope Ran's story inspires you to see your potential as limitless.  An ABEM degree can lead you to places you may never have imagined.

Bigger Questions.  Better Answers.  Bear Down.
