AREC Extension spreading the word about Arizona agriculture

AREC personnel, Dari Duval and Ashley Kerna, recently attended the Arizona Leafy Greens Food Safety Committee's Education Tour in Yuma, AZ to learn more about food safety and share insights about Arizona agriculture with state legislators, educators, and media representatives. Kerna presented results from the report "Agriculture in Arizona's Economy: An Economic Contribution Analysis" as well as Dr. George Frisvold's "The Economic Contribution of Agriculture to Yuma County."
