Double Header: Awards for AREC's Danielle Buhrow and Elena Chin

Danielle Buhrow, AREC's academic advisor & graduate program coordinator, and Elena Chin, current AREC graduate student, have both been honored with awards by the Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC). Danielle was named Outstanding Administrative Advocate for Graduate & Professional Students while Elena received her award for Outstanding Graduate & Professional Student Leadership. Attending the presentation ceremony were AREC professors Russ Tronstad (one of Elena's nominators) and Na Zuo (also a nominator for Danielle and Elena). For Elena this was her second time receiving a GSPC award: in 2018 she was named Outstanding Teaching Assistant.
